At least 20 Iraqis were killed in Sadr City alone on this the 5th anniversary of the fall of Baghdad. Many more were wounded. Violence is up despite the “successful” increase of troops and security measures.
The increase of violence started Sunday when opposition factions renewed fighting back against the occupation of their country by the Coalition of the Extremely Wicked. At least 15 US soldiers have been killed since then bringing the official total to at least 4030.
I guess I am just hung up on the reports of success we heard about yesterday.
