Freedom Is Only For The Other Countries People
We have all heard the warmongers mantra of “Freedom For Iraq” from all sides of the political spectrum. Sending our troops to foreign soil to procure this freedom is the accepted method of our government. While the war in Iraq grabs the attention of the mainstream media freedom in the United States is being ignored. Our laws have changed to make almost everything illegal. Teevee shows like Cops and that ilk soften Americans to the police state we have become. It is acceptable to citizens of our country for the police to invade homes looking for drugs or guns and the general public thinks it is alright to fill our prisons with the “undesirables”.
The United States started 2008 out with the prestigious award of having more of its population locked up than any other country in the world. At 1 out of 99.1 of our people doing time in some kind of lockup we have become the least free nation. 2,319,000 adults were in prison at the beginning of the year. That doesn’t include the juvenile jails. That number will surely grow as more domestic spying continues and more Draconian laws are passed to make even more things against the law.
Whatever happened to the land of the free?
Maybe it went away when those at home gave up being comfortable with being brave enough to stand up for our rights. CNN News Story

Americans have become so lazy they don’t even care about their own freedoms.
We scream for war, as long as it doesn’t affect us or our famlies, at the drop of a hat.
We complain about high gas prices but continue to buy and drive bigger and bigger cars and trucks. It is our “American Right”.
We complain about laws that are passed but continue to elect the same people to office over and over. (We don’t “Fight City Hall”)
As long as we have our big screen TV’s with 200 plus channels and big soft sofa’s to plop our fat ass’ on we are happy. We live in the fantasy world of TV and movies.
We live in a country where the “thought police” have won.
Our nations founding fathers would throw up if they knew what this country has become.

Funny thing, if Obama becomes president and everyone tells him we’re winning in six months but will lose if we leave, it will be hard for him to leave.
