Its been a while since I’ve been to New Orleans. Not since Katrina. I didn’t think I could deal with the changes and sorrowful loss after the storm. But with the stories I have heard from friends and the media things are getting better down there. The Carnival celebration going on is so like the old days. Drunken debauchery and stupidity in the streets, parades and the food….oh the food.
I truly know what it means to miss New Orleans.
