Am I The Victim Or The Crime?

Time For A Change…In The Vote.

January 20th, 2008 by Rocky

Although Hillary Clinton took more votes at the polls in Nevada Barack Obama came away the winner by seating more delegates than she did. Thats wrong. The electoral college type of voting is way out dated. Blue and red states are things of the past. Its time America came into the 21st century when we go to the polls.

The electoral college was fine before the telegraph reached all over our country. Telephone technology made sure the old process of choosing our president was outdated. Computer technology has almost made telephone tech. obsolete as it is faster and can handle more information in less time than the phones or telegraph ever could. Everyone’s voice can be heard as is obvious by the rise of popularity of the blog. So why do we still get a new president by the votes of the very few?

With technology as advanced as it is there is no reason why each voters “voice” isn’t heard.  The technology is available to record every vote and have it properly counted. No more Supreme Court decisions on who they want to be prez. No more B.S. on the way the college votes. No more stealing elections.

A vote cast should be a vote counted. True democracy can now be realized. Why isn’t it?

Stumble it!
