I took the title of this post from the Grateful Dead song “Franklins Tower”. One of the lines of the song is “If you get confused listen to the music play”. Paying homage to lyricist Robert Hunter and the Dead I will use this as the post title on an almost daily basis to share a music video I like with you.
During the ’80’s The Grateful Dead played this Wilson Pickett song at midnight on more than one New Years Eve concert. I thought it appropriate to post it on this New Year’s Eve.
This one is from a Philly Spectrum Show in March of ‘86. The video is OK and the audio is good. It is a bootleg so don’t expect video soundstage quality.
